This Question has 1 answers.

Given,

\n\n

⇒ P = 5Q

\n\n

Pipe P 1 minute work = 1/30

\n\n

Pipe Q’s 1 minute work = 1 /150

\n\n

If both pipes open,

\n\n

Pipe (P + Q)’s 1 minute work = 1/30 + 1/150

\n\n

= 6/150

\n\n

= 1/25

\n∴ It will take 25 minute to fill the tank.
