Let the side of the square be x metres

∴ The radius of the circle will also be x metres

Now, the area of square is given 196 sq metres

We know that,

Area of square = (side)²

∴ x² = 196

⇒ x = 14 m

Now, the radius of the circle is also 14 m

Perimeter of circle = 2πx

∴ Perimeter of circle = 2 × (22/7) × 14

⇒ Perimeter of circle = 88 m
