IB MYP Grade 1 Mandarin Language Acquisition
Mandarin Language Acquisition for IB MYP Grade 1 (ages 11–12) covers building Mandarin as an additional language through listening, reading, speaking and writing. At this foundational stage, learners learn to understand spoken Mandarin, read and write characters and communicate in everyday situations.

How Mandarin Language Acquisition is assessed
MYP Language Acquisition is assessed against four criteria: A (listening), B (reading), C (speaking) and D (writing).
