Sciences in IB MYP Grade 1
The MYP Sciences group brings together biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science and earth science for IB MYP Grade 1 (ages 11–12). Learners at this foundational stage build knowledge and skills that are assessed against four criteria.

How is Sciences assessed in the MYP?
Learners are assessed against the four criteria above, each marked out of 8, and the total is converted into a final grade from 1 to 7.
