Social and Cultural Studies for IB MYP Grade 3 (ages 13–14) covers how societies and cultures develop, interact and change. At this intermediate stage, learners learn to investigate social and cultural questions, compare cultures respectfully and communicate ideas clearly.

How Social and Cultural Studies is assessed
MYP Individuals and Societies is assessed against four criteria: A (knowing and understanding), B (investigating), C (communicating) and D (thinking critically).
