This Question has 1 answers.
Ratio of zinc and aluminium in alloy X = 1 : 4 = 5 unit
Ratio of zinc and aluminium in alloy Y = 11 : 8 = 19 unit
We have to equal quantities
Ratio of zinc and aluminium in alloy X = 1 : 4 = 5 × 19
Ratio of zinc and aluminium in alloy Y = 11 : 8 = 19 × 5
New ratio of zinc and aluminium in alloy X = 19 : 76 = 95 unit
New ratio of zinc and aluminium in alloy Y = 55 : 40 = 95 unit
∴ Ratio of zinc and aluminium in alloy Z = (19 + 55) : (76 + 40) = 74 : 116 = 37 : 58Similar Questions
