If the volume of a sphere is numerically equal to its surface area then its diameter is:
1). 4 cm
2). 2 cm
3). 3 cm
4). 6 cm

This Question has 1 answers.

Let ‘r’ be the radius of the sphere.

\n\n

Volume of the sphere = 4π r3/3 ……..eq(1)

\n\n

Surface area of the sphere = 4π r2 ……..eq(2)

\n\n

As per sum, (1) = (2)

\n\n

4π r3/3 = 4π r2

\n\n

⇒ r = 3 cm

\n∴ The diameter = 2 × r = 2 × 3 = 6 cm.
