Let the initial sum x of ages of 15 members = 15A

According to the question

15A - (45 + 55) + (2 new members) = 15(A + 2)

⇒ 15A - 100 + (2 new members) = 15A + 30

⇒ Sum of ages of 2 new members = 130

∴ Average age of the 2 new members = 130/2 = 65 years
