IB DP Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
DP Theory of Knowledge (TOK) covers how we know what we claim to know, across areas such as the natural sciences, human sciences, history, the arts and mathematics. Students develop the ability to analyse knowledge claims and counterclaims, explore perspectives and structure a clear, well-evidenced argument.
What students will do
- Analyse knowledge claims and counterclaims
- Explore perspectives
- Structure a clear, well-evidenced argument
Revision tip
Break the topic into small chunks, practise each one, and review them again after a few days. Spaced practice is far more effective than last-minute revision.
