Modern History in IB MYP Grade 2 History
Modern History is part of IB MYP Grade 2 History. At this developing stage (ages 12–13), learners work on exploring how life has changed recently, investigating key modern events and understanding causes of modern conflicts and change.
MYP History is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: investigating, C: communicating and D: thinking critically). Regular practice with modern history builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.
