Ecology in IB MYP Grade 2 Biology
Ecology is part of IB MYP Grade 2 Biology. At this developing stage (ages 12–13), learners work on exploring habitats and living things, investigating food chains and understanding ecosystems and interdependence.
MYP Biology is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: inquiring and designing, C: processing and evaluating and D: reflecting on the impacts of science). Regular practice with ecology builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.

For teachers
Use ecology activities as a starter, homework or retrieval practice, and mix free and premium resources to differentiate.
Read each question for the command word (describe, explain, compare) before you start. It tells you how much detail is expected.
