Atomic Structure in IB MYP Grade 2 Chemistry
Atomic Structure is part of IB MYP Grade 2 Chemistry. At this developing stage (ages 12–13), learners work on exploring that matter is made of tiny particles, investigating atoms and elements simply and understanding protons, neutrons and electrons.
MYP Chemistry is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: inquiring and designing, C: processing and evaluating and D: reflecting on the impacts of science). Regular practice with atomic structure builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.
