Digital Products in IB MYP Grade 1 Digital Design
Digital Products is part of IB MYP Grade 1 Digital Design. At this foundational stage (ages 11–12), learners work on exploring simple digital tools and creating a basic digital product.
MYP Digital Design is assessed against four criteria (A: inquiring and analysing, B: developing ideas, C: creating the solution and D: evaluating). Regular practice with digital products builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.
What learners practise
- Exploring simple digital tools
- Creating a basic digital product
For students
Work through the worksheets, practice questions and revision resources at your own pace. Check your answers, then redo anything that felt tricky and explain each answer in your own words.
For revision
Use these resources for homework, end-of-unit revision and catching up on anything missed in class.
For teachers
Use digital products activities as a starter, homework or retrieval practice, and mix free and premium resources to differentiate.
Test early and test often. A quick prototype that fails teaches you more than a polished idea that was never tried.
Quick answers
Who is the Digital Products page for?
It is for IB MYP Grade 1 Digital Design learners, typically aged 11–12, and for the parents and teachers who support them.
Are digital products resources free?
Many are. Each resource shows a clear Free or price label, so you can start with the free ones and add premium resources when you need more practice.
How should I use these resources?
Pick one resource, complete it without help first, then check and correct. Repeating this little and often is more effective than one long session.
