Space Physics in IB MYP Grade 2 Physics
Space Physics is part of IB MYP Grade 2 Physics. At this developing stage (ages 12–13), learners work on exploring the sun, moon and stars, investigating the solar system and understanding gravity and orbits.
MYP Physics is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: inquiring and designing, C: processing and evaluating and D: reflecting on the impacts of science). Regular practice with space physics builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.
What learners practise
- Exploring the sun, moon and stars
- Investigating the solar system
- Understanding gravity and orbits
For students
Work through the worksheets, practice questions and revision resources at your own pace. Check your answers, then redo anything that felt tricky and explain each answer in your own words.
For revision
Use these resources for homework, end-of-unit revision and catching up on anything missed in class.
