Number in IB MYP Grade 3 Mathematics
Number is part of IB MYP Grade 3 Mathematics. At this intermediate stage (ages 13–14), learners work on understanding place value, comparing and ordering numbers and working with larger numbers confidently.
MYP Mathematics is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: investigating patterns, C: communicating and D: applying mathematics in real-world contexts). Regular practice with number builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.

For students
Work through the worksheets, practice questions and revision resources at your own pace. Check your answers, then redo anything that felt tricky and explain each answer in your own words.
For revision
Use these resources for homework, end-of-unit revision and catching up on anything missed in class.
For teachers
Use number activities as a starter, homework or retrieval practice, and mix free and premium resources to differentiate.
When you get a question wrong, redo it a day later without looking at the solution. If you can do it cold, the idea has stuck.
