Web Design in IB MYP Grade 4 Digital Design
In IB MYP Grade 4 Digital Design, Web Design gives advancing learners (ages 14–15) the chance to practise designing a structured, styled webpage, building interactive web features and applying advanced web design and development practices.
MYP Digital Design is assessed against four criteria (A: inquiring and analysing, B: developing ideas, C: creating the solution and D: evaluating). Regular practice with web design builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.
What learners practise
- Designing a structured, styled webpage
- Building interactive web features
- Applying advanced web design and development practices
For students
Work through the worksheets, practice questions and revision resources at your own pace. Check your answers, then redo anything that felt tricky and explain each answer in your own words.
For revision
Use these resources for homework, end-of-unit revision and catching up on anything missed in class.
For teachers
Use web design activities as a starter, homework or retrieval practice, and mix free and premium resources to differentiate.
Test early and test often. A quick prototype that fails teaches you more than a polished idea that was never tried.
Quick answers
Who is the Web Design page for?
It is for IB MYP Grade 4 Digital Design learners, typically aged 14–15, and for the parents and teachers who support them.
Are web design resources free?
Many are. Each resource shows a clear Free or price label, so you can start with the free ones and add premium resources when you need more practice.
How should I use these resources?
Pick one resource, complete it without help first, then check and correct. Repeating this little and often is more effective than one long session.
