Training and Performance in IB MYP Grade 4 Physical and Health Education

Training and Performance is part of IB MYP Grade 4 Physical and Health Education. At this advancing stage (ages 14–15), learners work on practising skills to improve performance, analysing training methods for performance and applying advanced training and performance analysis.

Regular practice with training and performance builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.

What learners practise

  • Practising skills to improve performance
  • Analysing training methods for performance
  • Applying advanced training and performance analysis

For students

Work through the worksheets, practice questions and revision resources at your own pace. Check your answers, then redo anything that felt tricky and explain each answer in your own words.

For revision

Use these resources for homework, end-of-unit revision and catching up on anything missed in class.

For teachers

Use training and performance activities as a starter, homework or retrieval practice, and mix free and premium resources to differentiate.

Study tip

Set one small, measurable goal for each session, then reflect on whether you met it and what you would change next time.
