Human Geography in IB MYP Grade 5 Geography
In IB MYP Grade 5 Geography, Human Geography gives advanced learners (ages 15–16) the chance to practise analysing human geographic patterns and critically evaluating human geographic issues.
MYP Geography is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: investigating, C: communicating and D: thinking critically). Regular practice with human geography builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.

- Analysing human geographic patterns
- Critically evaluating human geographic issues
For students
Work through the worksheets, practice questions and revision resources at your own pace. Check your answers, then redo anything that felt tricky and explain each answer in your own words.
For revision
Use these resources for homework, end-of-unit revision and catching up on anything missed in class.
For teachers
Use human geography activities as a starter, homework or retrieval practice, and mix free and premium resources to differentiate.
Always ask "why does this matter?" Linking facts to causes, consequences and perspectives is what lifts a good answer into a great one.

Many are. Each resource shows a clear Free or price label, so you can start with the free ones and add premium resources when you need more practice.
