Capital and Small Letter Tracing in IB KG
Each page shows a letter as a pair, for example Aa, so children learn that the capital and small shapes belong together.
What learners practise
- Tracing the capital and small form of each letter
- Seeing that Aa are the same letter
- Circling both forms in a box
- Matching or tracing picture words
For students
Trace with your pencil, then try on your own. Colour the animal when you finish.
For parents
Print on A4 and sit beside your child. Short, happy sessions work best.
For teachers
Use as a morning task, centre activity or homework. Each page has a name, class and date box.
Point out that the capital letter starts names and sentences, the small letter is used inside words.
Quick answers
