How to Use This Worksheet
- Print the PDF on A4 paper (colour is best, but black and white works too).
- Read each instruction aloud together before your child starts.
- Let your child try every activity independently first.
- Mark with the answer key on page 2 and talk through any mistakes.
Tip: five to ten minutes of regular practice works better for Grade 1 learners than one long session. Colour in the pig when the worksheet is finished as a small reward.
Ideal for classroom use, homework, tutoring or home learning in the IB PYP Data Handling strand, where learners sort objects, use tally marks and read picture graphs and bar charts. Answer key included.
