How to Use This Worksheet
- Print the PDF on A4 paper (colour is best, but black and white works too).
- Read each instruction aloud together before your child starts.
- Let your child try every activity independently first.
- Mark with the answer key on page 2 and talk through any mistakes.
Tip: five to ten minutes of regular practice works better for Grade 1 learners than one long session. Colour in the tiger when the worksheet is finished as a small reward.
Ideal for classroom use, homework, tutoring or home learning in the IB PYP Shape and Space strand, where learners name and describe 2D shapes and 3D solids and use position words to say where things are. Answer key included.
