Matter in IB MYP Grade 3 Chemistry

In IB MYP Grade 3 Chemistry, Matter gives intermediate learners (ages 13–14) the chance to practise describing properties of materials, investigating states of matter and changes and understanding particle theory of matter.

MYP Chemistry is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: inquiring and designing, C: processing and evaluating and D: reflecting on the impacts of science). Regular practice with matter builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.
