Acids and Bases in IB MYP Grade 4 Chemistry
In IB MYP Grade 4 Chemistry, Acids and Bases gives advancing learners (ages 14–15) the chance to practise understanding the pH scale, analysing acid-base reactions and applying acid-base theory quantitatively.
MYP Chemistry is assessed against four criteria (A: knowing and understanding, B: inquiring and designing, C: processing and evaluating and D: reflecting on the impacts of science). Regular practice with acids and bases builds the knowledge and skills those criteria reward.
