How to Use This Worksheet
- Print the PDF on A4 paper (colour is best, but black and white works too).
- Read each instruction aloud together before your child starts.
- Let your child try every activity independently first.
- Mark with the answer key on page 2 and talk through any mistakes.
Tip: five to ten minutes of regular practice works better for Grade 1 learners than one long session. Colour in the whale when the worksheet is finished as a small reward.
Ideal for classroom use, homework, tutoring or home learning in the IB PYP Measurement strand, where learners describe how full a container is and compare how much containers hold. Answer key included.
